I have to disagree on the tech. From my understanding Highland has not actually been teching let's say the top 5 cars but each night they do walk around and have been looking at different things each week. I have to pat them on the back for that and that is probably why they are getting good car...

I believe the roll cage rule is for the street stocks not the factory stocks. Finally the factory stocks have a set of rules. The way they read they took the rules from Tri city's book and made them UMP rules. As far as trickling down to affecting locally...im not sure it will unless the tracks...

Not sure where you plan on running but I just went to Highland Speedways web site and it says nothing about 108" wheelbase.....with that being said there is a post on here about some rule changes them and Belleville have done. Not sure if it's in there or not.

Better yet...why was these rules posted without any input from the drivers owners? I didn't see it posted anywhere or never heard that tjere was going to be a rules meeting for this class! I was at a machine shop today when one of the people on the race committee called and was asking questions...

These rules make no sense at all! Heck...look at the rules for the other motor pertaining to the intake and carb compared to the 351C and the 327 and 350!

I can't like this guys comment enough! This is suppose to be a beginners class and for the youth to get the feel of it before they move up a class! How or why would a parent or a kid want to get involved with a class or racing when they have to spend so much just to get involved in this class...
