Guys, I read this and I have to tell you, I am in the heart of USRA territory as a PR person, broadcaster, and announcer, and I hear the drivers and fans say the same things about USRA that apparently are being said about UMP up your way. I don't have the answers by any means. I don't know that...
Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg, Mo is gearing up for the 9th Annual BBQ Bowl this Friday, July 4th and Saturday, July 5th featuring the $5,000 to win USRA Modified main event on the 5th. The weekend also features a $1,500 to win Street Stock special and Fireworks on Friday. Seven...
You all will be just fine. In reading the comments here it mirrors the same things that were being said on our racing forums out here in Western Missouri a few years back. There was NOT a lot of cars torn up, it DID not drag out the program, and it definitely DID NOT bore the race fans once all...
After reading all these replies I'm still not sure I understand? I do know that a long drive from the KC area to come to the show last week is in the review mirror at this point but why on earth would you be concerned with rescheduling this with the MARS races when those drivers apparently can't...
Their website is down. When we (ULMA) were there on Friday they said they are aware of the problem and trying to fix it. For at least the late model portion of the results you can find them in our ULMA press releases on most racing-related websites or by visiting www.ulmaracing.com.
You can probably add a few of the MARS boys to this lineup, just got a notification (Monday evening) that they have canceled their event at Springfield. Smart decision if you ask me as the three-day race at Humboldt is out this way for the weekend coming up plus the NDRL race. Can't wait to head...
"My guess is the lack of consistent support from ULMA to Callaway Raceways makes them not want to deal with that again. Most weeks they were just a hassle to deal with."
I guess I'm a little confused as to this statement and I'm not being a jerk here but please let us know what kind of hassle...

Awesome, I just missed his return to victory lane by one week. Great to see him back in victory lane and appreciate from a fan's point of view his new team for giving him this opportunity.
I am 44 years old, a long time Eddy fan and I must say he had me on my feet, and many many others in turn 4 stands with that heat race win Friday at Belle Claire and it would have been an awesome finish with him and Franky had that wreck not happened in front of him. I picked an awesome weekend...
Looking forward to visiting another old haunt this weekend and wearing purple to honor TTG. Been years since I've been able to catch a race at one of my fav tracks of all time. Hopefully I can catch up with some old friends at B'Vegas!
Happened to be back in the STL area this weekend and decided to stop in to my old haunt at Highland. Although disappointed in car count, had a good time, thought the LM feature was pretty cool. Love the bullrings and got to see some 4-wide early in the race. Shout out to the Highland crew for...
