Made the trip up from west Tennessee and had a great time. That was my second show at Pevely this year and I can't wait to go back.
Griffaw was blasting the top.
I'll ask as well...where were kloos and Manville ?
On track etiquette is really confusing. It looks to me like Harrison held his line and Bollinger didn't. I don't see many drivers lifting if that are in Harrison's position and it wasn't like it was the third lap and the 77 didn't know the 24 had the high side run....he had to know he was...
Good discussion here.
I live in west Tennessee, 3.5-4 hours to the St. Louis area and I go to more races there than I do around home. The shows at Pevely have changed over the years but you guys still have it very good. There are no weekly super late model tracks here, most classes draw 10-12...
Unbelievable job by Weber. I became a Scott Weber fan a few years ago when he came to a little track in Mississippi where I raced and he and a local guy battled hard, but clean for a $1,000 to win race.
I was at Haubstadt tonight and he absolutely outraced all the heavy hitters. No dirty...
This is unbelievable. I made my first trip to I-55 in a couple years this past Saturday and the first thing I noticed was that TTG was not announcing. I have been to racetracks all over the eastern half of the country and no one that I have heard was in the same ballpark as TTG, not even close...
Come on down. Riverside usually runs a good, timely show. The crates and mods might lack a little bit if you are used to STL area racing, but the sprints on hand should be worth the price of admission. You never know who will show for a late season race like this.
If you come down early or wanna...
I'll go ahead and pile on. I live in west Tennessee and I've been fortunate enough to see Kenny W and Kenny S race many times both in the midwest and in the southeast. They are just as polite and cordial in Columbus, Ms. or Tuscumbia, Al. as they are in St. Louis. So not only do I want them both...
Yes he was. I believe he won it last year as well. He has been really fast in the Midsouth for a long time. I've seen him win in a super late model, limited lm, and open wheel in one night.
I read on another board that Stormpay caught them up to no good while they were making an engine change. I...
Actually, the show was rained out today. They will make it up next Saturday at 1:00.
I love these late season and early season specials down here in the south because there is always at least one or two midwestern cars that show up.
Anyone wanting to do a little traveling next weekend should...
Thought I'd let you guys know Mike Hammerlee came down and ran at the Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Ms. last night. There were 47 late models on hand and he missed the show by 1 spot. He and 2 or three other guys waged a pretty good battle for most of the race for the final transfer. Weather...
What was so bad ? Dave Despain was great, Bloomquist's interview was great, D!ck Bergren and Andrews were ok (not great) and the race was great.
IMO you guys seem a little hard to please.
Scott Weber showed up tonight at the North Mississippi Motorsports Park in Corinth, Ms. (where I race) and finished second in the $2,000 to win feature. Every fast modified in the Midsouth was there besides three or four cars. I believe forty cars total signed in.
The 4J was really fast...
