Midget racing was pretty good. Track looked really good for late model qualifying, once the mods come out it chunked up a bit, but it wasnt bad racing at all. Shannon Babb is once again the show!
The spring date has been hard to get in over the years, but I hate to see us miss out on special events. Looks like the WoO lates wont be joining up with the hell tour either.
The road to the track was open for sure on Saturday. I think it may have been Friday. Hwy 67 just opened today. The pits were still partially covered on Saturday.
Colten Cottle got lapped around lap 8 and never moved up. That was really the only downer from the race, wish someone with better equipment would have went to the back.
I've been paying $40 a month for www.dirtvision.com. I think its $100 a year for www.dirtondirt.com and whatever ppvs i've decided to buy. There is definetely a market for it, but I have no clue how much of a cut tracks get in those situations. But I was kinda surprised Jimmys Facebook page...
I hope dirtcar and I-55 dont give up on this show after one attempt. The flaws are pretty obvious, but just take the criticism and improve the show for next year. The maybe they just shouldn't bother is crap.
As a fan it's been exciting. Only issue is when some of the really inexperienced guys draw good polls and start up front and wad up the field on the start.
Qualifying would make or break your night as well. If you were a decent car and qualified bad and got buried you might as well have loaded up for the night. Good change here!
