Good luck to the new promoter at PIR.

According to a guy from Paducah, posted on 4m, that he talked to Bob Sargent and Bob told him there are no races scheduled for PIR this year and the track is for sale. Unless something has changed, the revised schedule is incorrect.

8 classes is ridiculous. No wonder tracks are struggling to survive.

Guess the NASCAR connection doesn't always guarantee success. I guess Stewart has Eldora and Schrader has I-55 to worry about so PIR isn't on their radar. Shame, two tracks gone in a short period of time.

They keep coming up with these gimmicks and still attendance and TV ratings decline. Pretty soon it will be like the old days...Wide World of Sports with racing sandwiched between ski jumping and arm wrestling.
