Was a good turnout for play day, track was in great shape, hat's off to the Merseals and everyone else who has been working on the track! Can't wait til Saturday, see new faces, new bikes and cars.

He runs out of town only a couple times a year and he runs on proven tracks. Once the Merseals get everything lined out and we get more of the out of towners in he'll be more easily convinced to run here. Need to get Garret back down here and lay down some good numbers with his big bike and that...

I seen Larry's 1st 5 second pass at Gateway, it was insane :eek: . It takes some major marbles to run a bike like that! Jeff is running the bike again tonight so maybe he will go faster

Jeff Guillot, owner of Northeast LA Sand Drag track ran a blistering 2.74@116mph at Newton, Va tonight. which is a 300ft dirt sand mix track. He rides a custom laydown 3 wheeler with a top fuel motorcycle engine from Larry "Spiderman" McBride that makes 1200hp!

No dragging? That sounds safe :eek: No 4 wheelers? :( Hope he has enough people show up in buggies, jeeps and 4x4's to support the track.

Racing was good all weekend, track was hooking good. Saturday night had a good turnout and we had some quick bikes. Sunday was a touch dusty! :p

Track was hooking good even the out of town people said the same thing...dunno what the deal was with the lights, as much humidity as there was I would say thats what was causing the problems (seen it several times in the past).

:eek: Watch the unlimited class this year and see how boring it is! Yesterday there were 4 bikes that were running within a 10th of each other.Some really good racing if you ask me, doesn't matter if your an atv or car guy. I for one would'nt want all atv's. The cars and buggies do a fine job...

So will my number be 23U since it was 23S last season? :D

Jason or Christi or someone that knows, what are the class names going to be this year? Are we changing the class times still? Need to do my number and want to make sure I have the right class name. Thanks Shawn

Got back from planetsand sand drags in louisianna today, been there since tuesday and it was awesome! All atv's only and the fastest 4 wheeled atv ran a 3.18 @ 106mph!!! Can't wait to get back to racin
