MIDWEST SPEED EXPO Trade Show and Swap Meet to invade
SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS February 21st and 22nd, 2004
After a decade of absence of any type of racing trade show, Illinois capitol city Springfield will play host to the 1st ANNUAL MIDWEST SPEED EXPO Trade Show and Swap Meet the weekend of February 21st and 22nd. The event will take place at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois in the beautiful ultra modern 39,000 sq. ft. heated ORR Building.
What better way to spend a Saturday or Sunday just before the start of the new race season? This is your opportunity to look over and purchase both new and used race parts for Dirt Late Models, Modifieds, Sprint Cars, Midgets, Drag Race etc. as well as the latest from motorcycle dealers and trailer/transport dealers who will also be on hand.
There will be representatives from several area tracks and sanctioning bodies on hand as well with whom you can discuss any rules changes and scheduling for the 2004 season, including U.M.P., Northern All Star Late Models, Jacksonville Raceway, Midwest Sprint Car Series and others!
Also on hand will be representatives for several chassis manufacturers as well as shock, wheel, fuel tires and safety equipment representatives to answer any questions you might have.
Shannon Babb, 2003 Topless 100 winner and 2002 Dirt Track World Championship Winner will be on hand signing autographs and will have his car on display as will Justin Allgaier, veteran UMP Late Model, M.A.R.A. midget and ARCA driver, fresh back from his trip to New Zealand for some winter racing. 2002 World of Outlaw Championship winner Danny Lasoski will also have his car on display as well as 2003 Jacksonville Raceway Track Champion Terry Babb.
There will be a number of drawings for giveaway items and one lucky vendor and one lucky show attendee will win a nice brand new color television!

Food will be available for sale at the show with vending provided by the infamous world renowned racing icon JUNGLE JIM.
Show hours are Saturday February 21st, 2004 from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. and Sunday February 22nd, 2004 from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.
Admission is just $5.00 per day with children under 10 FREE and limited vendor booths are still available for anyone interested in having a booth at the show. Booth space is available for $45.00 for a 10' X 10' booth which includes 2 complimentary 2 Day Vendor passes.
