2019 FASTRAK Racing Series schedule released; over $450,000 in purse money


Carnesville, GA –
The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance has released the 2019 touring schedule. The schedule includes over $450,000 in total purse money for drivers competing on the tour in 2019. Drivers will be chasing the $10,000 to win FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance Championship beginning on April 6th at Toccoa Raceway. Select races will be broadcast on Speed51.com, with the 2019 FASTRAK World Championship set to be broadcasted via tape-delay on MavTV.

The 2019 FASTRAK World Championship, paying a record $50,000 to win and $2,050 to start, will be held September 13th and 14th at Virginia Motor Speedway. The total purse for the 2019 FASTRAK World Championship currently stands at $162,175 with the addition of the two provisional starters. Virginia Motor Speedway will award a provisional to the driver highest in the FASTRAK Victory Lap Pro Late Model points who does not qualify for the feature. The FASTRAK Racing Series will award their provisional to the driver highest in points who is competing on the AFCO Crate Spec Shocks. The series will also visit the Jamaica, VA 1/2-mile oval on April 20th and June 15th for $3,000 to win as part of the King of the Commonwealth and USA 100.

Beckley Motorsports Park will host the 2019 FASTRAK World Challenge on October 4th and 5th, paying $2,000 to win and $5,000 to win, respectively. Additionally, drivers will be competing for their share of the $5,000 to win points fund for the FASTRAK World Challenge. The FASTRAK World Challenge is for FASTRAK members only who have competed in a minimum of 10 FASTRAK races, weekly or touring, between April 5th and September 2nd. Beckley Motorsports Park will also host the FASTRAK Triple Crown on May 25th, paying $3,000 to win. The 2019 FASTRAK Triple Crown will kick-off at 311 Motor Speedway on May 24th for $3,000 to win and conclude at Friendship Motor Speedway on May 26th paying $5,000 to win the finale.

Volunteer Speedway, in Bulls Gap, TN returns to the FASTRAK Racing Series schedule in 2019. The series stops at the high-banked oval on May 4th paying $3,000 to win and on August 3rd paying $5,000 to win.

Oglethorpe Speedway Park and Patriots Park Raceway have teamed up to hold a mid-summer double header in Southern Georgia on July 26th and 27th, both $2,000 to win and $250 to start.

America’s Baddest Bullring, Tyler County Speedway, will host three FASTRAK Racing Series events in 2019. The first is the 2nd Annual “Great American Crate Race” on July 13th paying $7,000 to win. The FASTRAK East Coast rumble will have a two-day stop at the 1/4th mile bullring during the “Hillbilly 100” weekend, paying $2,000 to win on August 31st and September 1st.

FASTRAK will return to Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY on September 28th for the “2nd Annual Damn Yankees 50” paying $5,000 to win. This race will kick-off the “Cancer Awareness Month” which will pay $5,000 to win each weekend of October and allow any Hoosier Crate Spec tire to compete. The 2019 FASTRAK World Challenge at Beckley will only allow FT 200 and FT 400 tires within the month of October. Dates are still being finalized for “Cancer Awareness Month” but will conclude on October 26th at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, NC.

The 2019 FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance season is set to conclude on November 15th and 16th at Screven Motorsports Complex, with a $2,000 to win race on Friday and $3,000 to win on Saturday.
