2019 FASTRAK World Championship to air on MavTV on October 30th

The 2019 FASTRAK World Championship, paying $50,000 to win and $2,050 to start, at Virginia Motor Speedway on September 13th and 14th will be aired, via tape-delay, on MavTV at 7pm on October 30th. The race will be the single richest in the history of Chevrolet Performance Late Models, with a total purse of $162,175 for the Saturday night feature. Still to be announced are purses for non-qualifiers’ races to be held for drivers that do not make the historic A-Main.

“Having our 2019 World Championship on MavTV is a huge opportunity for not only FASTRAK, but Pro Late Model Racing as a whole,” said FASTRAK Executive Vice President DJ Irvine, “This is a once in a lifetime event, and I’m certain these drivers will put on quite the show. I have to thank Bob Dillner and his team over at Speed51.com on helping make this a reality.”

Recently announced was the addition of two provisional starting spots, bringing the field to 26 cars. The first provisional is for the driver highest in FASTRAK Victory Lap Pro Late Models points at Virginia Motor Speedway who does not qualify for the A-Main. The second is for the driver highest in the FASTRAK Racing Series points competing on the AFCO Crate Spec Shocks who does not qualify for the A-Main.

The 2019 FASTRAK World Championship will air beginning at 7pm on October 30th on MavTV and run for two hours, encompassing heat races, B-Mains, and the 60 lap $50,000 to win feature. Check your local listings for the channel number for MavTV.
