61 guest are pre-registered to attend the first ever points banquet for the Fastrak Champions Dirt Late Model Series to be held at Rend Lake this weekend.

Joe Morris has been crowned the Fastrak Mid West Champion for the 2005 season. Scott Hutchinson was runner up for 2005 but close in points all season as he and Morris battled the entire year.

Kenny Tipton from the Goodyear tire and rubber company from Salt Lake City Utah will be on hand as will National Tech Director Rick Ellision and Fastrak Founder Stan Lester. Fastrak Regional Directors Scott and Kevin Ferguson will be in attendance along with Shawn Hutchinson, newly announced director for the Fastrak Open Wheel Modifieds.

Special announcements will be made that night including weekly sanctioned tracks for the Late Models and the newly formed Open Wheel Modifieds.

Announcements will also include opportunities for Fastrak teams and Fastrak weekly sanctioned tracks that will include an optional two million dollars in insurance coverage and also the soon coming stock plan offered to all Fastrak affliates. Also to be announced will be another newly formed Region for Fastrak to begin in 2006.

"I'm excited about the banquet" stated Founder Stan Lester. "Its a first for the Mid West and it is a great group of people there. I have seen some great racing in that area. Kevin and Scott Ferguson along with their families have worked very hard in the Mid West and deserve all the credit for crate racing in that area. Without their efforts crate late model racing would still be a question but they made it a reality for everyone. We are blessed to be affiliated with the Fergusons".

Thanks to Scott and Kevin once again for everything they have done for my family and everything for racers in general. Crate racing would not be what it is today if it wasnt for the entire Ferguson Family. Thanks to all
