MEMPHIS, Mo. (Sept. 27) - For the 6th straight year, the small rural community of Memphis, Mo., will be transformed into a sea of race fans, cars and drivers as three nights of racing are on tap for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14-16, at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway with the sixth running of the Pepsi Nationals.

Thursday October 14 will be the first night on the full racing card with an open practice session to get the cars in tune for the big event filled weekend.

Friday night October 15 All cars will draw for starting position. The top-6 finishers in Friday's Open Modifieds, IMCA Type Modifieds, Sport Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, 4-Cylinders features will be locked into Saturday’s main event. The 2 Person Cruisers will be racing a complete show on Friday night. They will not be racing Saturday night.

A LIVE band will perform Friday after the races! Everyone with pit pass access (wristband) gets in free! Cover charge-$5.00

Saturday October 16 the top six drivers will start how they finished from Friday nights finals. All other drivers will draw for starting spots. Heat races and B-mains will be ran to fill the field for Saturday championship finals.

Also added to Saturday night show will be a Late Model Shootout paying $1000 to win and $150 to start. The rules for the Late Model Shootout are designed in an effort to equalize competition between several different engine and tire combinations from IMCA, UMP and ULMA. Saturday night Candy Dash for kids during intermission, sponsored by Beverly Moore Insurance in Memphis, MO! ALSO a Hog Roast after the races, FREE with wrist band pit access.

The 2 Modified classes will each for $450 to win on Friday and $1,000 to win on Saturday. Stock Cars will battle for $300 to win Friday with a top prize of $750 on Saturday. Friday night's B-Mod feature will pay the winner $250, with Saturday's winner getting $600. Hobby Stock drivers will race for $220 to win on Friday and a $500 first-place paycheck on Saturday night. The 4-Cylinders will be competing for $100 and $250 to win, respectively. The complete payout can be seen at www.scotlandcountyspeedway.com

On Thursday, pit gate opens at 2p.m. $10 per car Grandstand is FREE
On Friday, pit gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps 6:30 and racing 7:00. On Saturday, pit gates open at 3 p.m. hot laps at 6:00, racing 7 p.m.
General admission for both nights are Adults $10, Juniors and seniors get in for $8. Kids 11 and under get in for FREE. Pit passes are $25 each night.
Camping is available at the track.

Entry fees postmarked by Oct. 8 are 4-Cylinders $20, 2 Person Cruisers $20, Hobby Stocks $30, Stock Cars $50, Sports Mods $40, Open & IMCA Type Modifieds $60 and Late Models $60. At the track on race day, 4-Cylinders $40, 2 Person Cruisers $40, Hobby Stocks $50, Stock Cars $70, Sport Mods $60, Open & IMCA Type Modifieds $80 and Late Models $80. Drivers must race both nights to be eligible for the Saturday payouts. Drivers only racing on Saturday night will race for the Friday purse.
