The night started out with a full field of 25 Late Models. The fastest qualifier of the night was Mike Chandler (51) with a time of 13.075. Chandler also took the win in the Dash. Carnell Parker (75) wins the first heat race while Gary Johnson (20) takes the win for the second and Randall Sweeney (33) finishes up with the third heat race. The B feature winner was Brian Singleton (72). With the field set, the green flag flies, with many positions juggling back and forth. Every driver was giving it all they had all the way until the checkered flag dropped. Neck in neck Chandler and Tony Albright (1) battle it out all they way across the finish line. The crowd goes wild as Albright wins by about 12 inches. This is what our fans come out to see. Now that?s racing!

The Open Wheel dash winner was our very own Clayton Miller (15). Heat winner #1 showed Jamie Mann (3) catching the checkered flag. When feature time rolled around David Flowers (99) wins first place while Randall Sweeney (182) takes second.

Mini Modifieds racing for the Mid-Season Championship with the top five receiving trophies puts on quite a show as the heat race winner starts with Ronnie Richardson (15). He also went on to win the feature race taking home the first place trophy. Taking second place was Micah Smith (14X), Brian Smith (13X) takes third place, Stan Ferry (2) wins fourth and Kyle Fleming (1F) wins fifth.

As the Mini Sprints roll onto the track, Race Neeley (14R) shows them who was boss in heat one. Les Riley (13R) wins heat two and goes on to take home the big money in the feature race. If you haven?t seen these guys in action, you haven?t seen racing!

The Street Stock class also had their Mid-Season Championship race with the top five receiving money and trophies. With a field of eighteen cars, any ones guess as to who would take home the win. Starting the night out with the heat races were the following drivers: Mike Neighbors (77) wins heat one. Dorris McCord (45) takes the second heat win and Wally Walker (71) wins the third heat. Feature time displays some more photo finishes as drivers Ronnie Hedgepath (H55) and Don Everett (9) battle it out. Again the win was within a foot. The final outcome for victory was Dorris McCord finishing first as Neighbors takes second place, while Everett places third, Hedgepath finishes fourth and Matt Musser (8) take fifth place. This has to be one of the most exciting street stock races thus far this season with some outstanding, professional racers showing the fans how it is done.

The Pure Mini?s also celebrated their Mid-Season Championship. Heat race winners were Darryl Johnson (30)winning the first heat and Michael Perrigo (14) winning the second heat. Feature race displayed Perrigo again taking the checkered flag as Brad Groves (8G) takes second place, Stan Ferry (1) placing third, Tony Wallace (21) taking fourth and Tim Hunter (77) placing fifth. They all received money and trophies designed by Sporty?s Awards.

The Pro-Street class had Brian Caudle (RC1) setting fastest time. Don Young (41) wins the Dash race and Larry Barber Jr. (T54) wins the Heat. Don Young also made a statement as he takes the feature win.

A special thank you goes out to all of our fans and drivers as they donated over $500.00 to help out our fellow racers Tyrone Dossett as he has been in a terrible automobile accident and David Liberatore as he was in a really bad fire. I know their families are very appreciative of your kindness. Please keep their families in your prayers as they recover from these deadly accidents.
