The Racers In Christ Ministry (RIC) will team up onceagain in 2013 with the ADRA to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all thosewho have a desire. The RIC provides free Bibles and literature for those inneed as well as spiritual inspiration. (We’ll pray with you!) The ADRA feels itis very important to hold on to our American values and character especially inthis age of anti-Christ and anti-American sentiment. Trusting in God and dirtracing is about as American and it gets and we like it that way! (www.racersinchrist.com)

The 2012 Season ended with the Epic Weekend at BrushcreekMotorsports Complex in Peebles, OH. This was a Twin feature event paying$10,000 each. The winner of the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] feature had the choice of takingthe cash or opting to receive a Harley V-Rod. A record 41 entrants attendedthis inaugural event for the ADRA with Jackie Boggs out of Grayson, KY in the familiar4B Swartz chassis taking the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] feature in dominating fashion aftercoming from a 6[SUP]th[/SUP] place starting position and almost immediatelyassuming control of the lead. Boggs ironically lapped the entire field up to 6[SUP]th[/SUP]place where he started. Jackie Boggs is the winningest driver in the history ofthis event known as the Heritage Classic in which a Harley Davidson has been inthe offering since the onset of this annual event in 2001.

The 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] feature saw World of Outlaws stand out Shane Clanton in victory lane after a hard fought battle as the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]feature was full of action which resulted in several cautions. Local favoriteBen Adkins in the #57 Swartz car held the lead for the lion’s share of theevent but Clanton would catch Adkins and after a cobbled restart with 4 to go Clanton stole the lead and went on to victory lane. Clanton would later opt toreceive the Harley V-Rod rather than the $10,000 cash payout.

The final event would have been the ADRA Dirt Master’sChampionship which was schedule for Oct.6[SUP]th[/SUP] at the WV Motor Speedwaywas rained out. Due to the other special events happening in that time of theyear the onslaught of inclimate weather it was decided not to reschedule theevent. This left the ADRA point standings after the Epic Weekend at BrushcreekMotorsports Complex as our final 2012 results and “Hot Rod” Rod Conley in the#71R Rocket chassis out of Wheelersburg, OH our 2012 ADRA Dirt Late Model SeriesChampion.

Rocket Chassis claimed 8 of 10 of the top 10 in ADRA points withSwartz and Mastersbilt claiming the 3
[SUP]rd[/SUP] and 7[SUP]th[/SUP]respectively.

There were 8 different winnersin 9 ADRA events in 2012 with Donnie Moran being the only repeat winner of theyear. There was a grand total of $134,468 paid out to the 2012 ADRA drivers. That averages out to $14,941 as the average cost of an ADRA Super Late Modelevent even with the higher paying events tallied in. It is evident by the listof winners below and the caliber of talent listed in results on our website at www.adraracing.net, the ADRA is a greatdeal for the track and provides a really decent pay for the drivers as eachrace pays a minimum $300 to start. We also averaged out to just over $16 pergeneral admission ticket again even with the bigger events included.
