BOONVILLE, Ind. (March 17) – AFCO spreads the wealth again this season, with contingency awards for drivers in five IMCA divisions.
The top three drivers in each of the five Modified regions earn product certificates worth $250, $150 and $50, respectively, while the top three in each of the two Stock Car regions earn $200, $100 and $50, respectively, from the Boonville, Ind., manufacturer.
Awards of $125, $75 and $50 go to top three drivers in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Chassis Southern SportMod divisions.
Fourth, sixth and 11th place finishers in national Late Model points and the rookie of the year receive all $100 product certificates.
Modified, Stock Car and SportMod drivers must compete with AFCO-manufactured shocks and springs, display two AFCO decals on their race car and return a completed sign-up sheet to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1 to be eligible.
AFCO also manufactures other suspension components, rear ends and radia¬tors. Information about those products is available by calling 800 632-2320 and at the www.afcoracing.com website.
"The combination of AFCO shocks and springs has been very successful for IMCA racers over the years and we will continue to recognize drivers with that winning package," said Kevin Yoder, IMCA’s marketing director.
