MACON, IL –Wyzard Cleaning Service of Springfield, Illinois has signed on as the sponsor for the Friday Night September 10 All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car series event at Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois. The All Stars will return to the Macon Speedway for the first time in eight years. This is a “Don’t Miss” show for 2004 since the action on the tight Macon oval is always wheel to wheel and fast and furious. Who can conquer the tight confines of Macon? Find out this Friday.
All the top All Star drivers in “America’s Series” are expected to attend including points leader Chad Kemenah, Greg “The Kid” Wilson, Danny Smith, Kelly Kinser, Jeremy Campbell, Bill Rose, Paul “Gas Masher” May, Brock Mayes, Tim Hunter, Barry Ruble, Eddie Lynch, Jon Agan and Dean Jacobs. Drivers from all across the Midwest will also be on hand to challenge the All Star regulars. Neighboring Jacksonville Speedway, which hosts a weekly winged sprint program on Friday nights, will not be running on September 10th so a large field of cars is anticipated. The always exciting 600cc micro sprints and hornets will be competing for $1000 to win and $100 to start and $500 to win and $50 to start respectively.
Spectator gates open at 5:00 with the first race scheduled for 7:30. Adult tickets are $20. Children 7 - 12 are $10. Kids 6 and under are free Macon Speedway is located in the village of Macon off US Highway 51.
