How does the weather look? Could some one post if this race is CXL'd.

Its on, just talked to the track 618-542-1515 and they said they didnt get any rain at all last night. I will probably head that way too. 20 to get in for adults, 10 for kids.
 
good luck we called one time and asked if it was raining and they said no, but it really was b/c we were in the parking lot and it was pouring
 
:rolleyes: Well we went and the Arca race and the Mod heats were good. Had a lot of cautions and then a red on the last lap of the ARCA race. On the restart the wall in turn 1-2 was knocked out by the 48 car and they called the race, Tony Stewart won and Schader finished 2nd. A BIG BLACK cloud came overhead, the mods were lined up waiting to take the track but the race was called just before the pour down b/c they couldnt get the wall fixed. Terry English did great qualified 2nd. Stewart (fast time). English hit the wall in turn 3-4 on the first lap and lost about 20 positions, he came all the way back to 9th before a mishap that lead to him being push off the track to the pit area. They will be running a double feature next Saturday (night race).

Everyone seemed to be ok, there were between 25-30 mods I think.. 3 heats.......Pizza Man was fast and won a heat...the mod feature will be ran next sat. night with the USAC race

I think 45 Brandon Maxwell got 2nd

ARCA race- lots of cautions
then the rains came
going back Sat. night to watch pizza man win!!!
 
Anyone else get soaked on the way out? I don't know how I managed to miss rain for two days, but I definitely paid for it because I have only had about 5 hours of sleep after a long night at Haubstadt and am wiped out. Good to see Tony finally win at Duquoin just wish Kimmel would have been able to race for the win too.
