Millstadt, IL - The POWRi presented by Speedway Motors National Midget and 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint Series return to familiar territory at the St. Clair County fairgrounds for the Annual Arnie Knepper Memorial event at Belle-Clair Speedway Wednesday August 11th. The mighty midgets are being led by Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, MO with a healthy lead over defending POWRi champ Brad Kuhn, Austin Brown, Zach Daum and Daniel Adler.
Andrew Felker of Carl Junction, MO holds a slim lead in the Outlaw Micro Sprint division over Jeremy Camp, Derek King, Brandon Graybeal and Joe B. Miller. Camp is coming off a huge win at the Washington Town and Country Fair in Washington, MO this past weekend and with Felker opting to run the midget at the Belleville Midget Nationals this past weekend, Camp has tightened up the point differential by a mere 35 points heading into the event.
Gates open at 4:00pm, hot laps at 6:00pm and racing at 7:00pm. General admission is $12.00, kids 12 and under free. Tickets can be purchased with a ($2.00 savings) at Don’s Hardware in Belleville IL.
