DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Wednesday, February 24, 2010) - The Willard family has had a great relationship with ASA President Dennis Huth. So, when Huth approached them about having Lebanon I-44 Speedway as an ASA Member Track, it didn't take long for the family to make the decision and join the fast growing program.

"We had a great relationship with Dennis with his past experiences," Brennon Willard, Lebanon I-44 Speedway co-promoter said. "What he says is a good thing, he knows a lot about this sport. I like the idea of his insurance plan which I feel our drivers will appreciate. And I like the idea of being a member of an organization like ASA."

Brennon will be sharing the promoting duties with Debbie Handley, "We are very excited about being part of ASA," Willard said. "The ASA name is very well known in Missouri and it brings a lot of credibility. We also like the opportunity that their ASA Member Track National Championship brings to our drivers, especially our young drivers who have goals of racing in the big leagues. We are glad to be on board."

Lebanon I-44 Speedway has already proven that some of their drivers have gone on to bigger and better things. Their 1997 track champion, Jamie McMurray, recently won the Daytona 500. Other notable drivers include Mike Wallace, Tony Roper and Tony Jackson Jr. Even Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards, Ken Schrader and others have raced there. Along with five-time track champion Larry Phillips.

This season Lebanon I-44 Speedway competitors will have the opportunity to compete on a new asphalt racing surface after operating as a clay oval. "We are very excited to bring asphalt racing back to Lebanon," Willard exclaimed. "Our family loves dirt racing, but asphalt is not only our family business, it's in our blood. It has been awesome over the years to watch people mature as racers on Saturday nights at our track, then going on to race on TV on Sundays."

Other improvements are: a new driver sign-in booth, new bleachers, completely remodeled bathrooms, a new cook shack and more.

"It is a great pleasure to be working with the Willard family again," Dennis Huth, ASA President said. "We have had a long history of working together and I am excited to do so once again. They have put a lot of time and energy into their improvements and I think they will have a great 2010 season ahead of them. Welcome aboard!!!"
