Thanks Kevin!

The All Star Circuit of Champions will visit Illinois on July 24 & 25; Jacksonville Speedway on Friday and Tri-City Speedway ($6,000-to-win) in Granite City on Saturday. The visits to Jacksonville and Tri-City will be a first for the traveling All Stars since 1994 and 1997, respectively.

That is not the ASCS. The ASCS is a series for limited sprint cars with 360 ci engines. Most of them are running illegal engines but no one is checking them. They only have a few decent drivers.
On the other hand, the All Star Circuit of Champions, which is owned by Tony Stewart, is a 410 ci series that is second only to the World of Outlaws. They feature a mixture of up and coming racers like Aaron Reutzel and Cory Eliason and some former outlaws like Paul McMahan, Jac Haudenschild, Chad Kemenah, and Greg Wilson. That should be a great show.

Thanks for your correction sprintfanatic, I did get those two series mixed up. The ASCS cars are also coming to Tri-City on Friday May 15.
