ASCS Warriors headline Randolph County

Bryan Hulbert - TULSA, Okla. (August 27, 2013) The Speedway Motors Warrior Region is down to the final six events of the 2013 season, with two of those coming this Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1 at the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo.

Offering a $2,000 winner’s purse on Saturday night, the bounty jumps to $4,000 for Sunday’s finale. The region’s second visit of 2013 to the high-banked, half-mile clay oval, Jonathan Cornell picked up the win in the series inaugural visit on July 6.

Cornell continues to lead the Speedway Motors Warrior Region driver standings by a staggering 287 markers. Jay Russell holds second with Cody Baker still third. Casey Baker moved back to fourth following events the U.S. 36 Raceway on Friday, August 23 with J.R. Topper now fifth.

Tyler Blank, Miranda Arnold, Mitchell Moore, Kyle Bellm, and Wyatt Burks make up the top ten in Warrior Regional standings.

Support classes for Saturday, August 31 are USRA B-Mods and Street Stocks. Sunday, September 1 will feature USRA Modifieds and ULMA Late Models. Tickets each night are $15 for adults with kids 5 years and younger admitted free into the Grandstands.
