Beaver Stripes to Sponsor Non-Wing 360 Power Rankings!

Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (January 30, 2014) – Beaver Stripes Custom Graphics and Molding Supply has signed on as the title sponsor of the Non-Wing 360 Sprint Car portion of the Open Wheel Power Rankings for 2014.

A part of the recurring “The Wheatley Chronicles” series of articles on www.racinboys.com, the Open Wheel Power Rankings are determined by cumulative points based on a sliding scale dependent upon car count at Sprint Car and Midget events across all sanctions and non-sanctions throughout North America.

Now the Beaver Stripes Non-Wing 360 Power Rankings, Phoenix shoe R.J. Johnson edged fellow USAC Southwest competitor Charles Davis, Jr., for the top spot in the 2013 rankings as points were awarded in 85 events throughout the country. Others finishing among the top ten included Richard Vander Weerd, Josh Pelkey, Ryan Bernal, Danny Faria, Jr., Mike Martin, Bud Kaeding, Shon Deskins and Bryan Clauson.

The 2014 edition of the Beaver Stripes Non-Wing 360 Power Rankings opened with last weekend’s set of Winter Challenge events at Canyon Speedway Park. Brady Bacon won the opener on January 24 with Dave Darland topping feature events the next two nights.

The initial Beaver Stripes Non-Wing 360 Power Rankings for 2014 will be released next week.
