Belle-Clair Speedway Set to Host First Ever Fastrak Midwest/Dirt Late Model Magazine “Night at the Races!”
(EDWARDSVILLE, IL) The 2006 St. Clair County Fair revs up on Tuesday, Aug. 8 as the Fastrak Midwest Region Touring Series Late Models light up the famous 1/5 mile Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL with side-by-side racing action and the first ever Fastrak Midwest/Dirt Late Model Magazine “Night at the Races!” free giveaway promotion.
The first 100 fans through the gates are guaranteed a free copy of Dirt Late Model Magazine, and lucky fans in the stands can catch a free copy wrapped in a Fastrak Midwest/Dirt Late Model Magazine “Night at the Races!” t-shirt tossed into the crowd by Unlimited Imprints of Godfrey, IL.
On top of the free magazines and t-shirt giveaways, there will be unlimited subscription discounts on offer at the ticket windows and concession stands or from any Fastrak Official. To cap the night off, the Fastrak feature drivers will perform the traditional fan favorite Fastrak Tennis Ball Toss, whereby $100 in cash stuffed inside tennis balls is thrown into the crowd before the 30 lap, $1200 to win main event.
In addition to the Fastrak Midwest Region Touring Series Late Models, fans will get a taste of racing history with the Vintage Racing Coupes, as well as marvel at the speed and agility and lightning quick reactions of the drivers in the Dwarf Cars.
General admission for the Fastrak Midwest/Dirt Late Model Magazine “Night at the Races!” is $12 with kids 12 and under free. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., hotlaps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7:00 p.m.
