BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (Sept. 17, 2005) The "Ebay Warrior," aka Brad Lunn of Pacific, Mo., captured first place Saturday night in the Competition Eliminator class at Big River Sand Drags. Tim Dee of Bismarck finished in second place and won the top eliminator race. However it was Lunn's first place finish that catapulted him into sole possession of first place points going into the final night of competition. Lunn holds a slim 15-point advantage over Steve Barton of Bonne Terre and a 20-point margin over 14-year-old William Sutton of Des Arc. Lunn earned the nickname "Ebay Warrior" after purchasing his dragster off of Ebay.
In other results from Saturday, Bill Sutton of Bonne Terre was the first place in the Open 4x4 class with second place winner Chris Mackley of Bonne Terre winning the top eliminator race.
In Stock Buggy, Vernon Henson Sr. of Valle Mines was the first place winner with second place winner Vernon Henson Jr. winning the top eliminator race.
In Vehicle ET, Gladys Edwards of Bonne Terre was the top eliminator and first place winner while Willis Francis was the second place winner.
In Junior ATV, Garth Farris of Potosi was the first place winner and top eliminator while Zac Lunn of Pacific was the second place winner.
In ATV-1, Eric "The Real" McCoy of Potosi was the top eliminator and first place winner while Allie Glatczak of Potosi was second.
In Pro ATV, Allie Glatczak continued her phenomenal 2005 season by winning first place and top eliminator while Jeremy Click of Liberty was second.
In Super Pro ATV, Jeff Griffin of Pevely was the top eliminator and first place winner while Dillon Huff of Park Hills settled for second place.
Following this Saturday night's races, the "Tournament of Champions" will be held to crown the overall track champions in both the ATV and the MSRA classes.
