Batesville, Arkansas (4/13/09) – Billy Moyer Jr. has flirted with victory lane several times thus far into the 2009 season, but on Saturday night at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas, he sealed the deal, and picked up the $2,000 win!

On Saturday, April 11th at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas, Billy charged from his 8th starting position to take the lead in the final corner of the final lap from Howard Willis. He went on to lead the last 150 feet to take his first ever O'Reilly MSRA feature win and the biggest triumph of his career to the tune of $2,000 at the ¼ mile bullring. After finishing 2nd in his heat race, he started 8th in the 40 lap feature at the 60 year old facility. Billy would use the low groove to work his way to the front during the race’s early to mid stages. He would hold down the second spot for last few laps before using a daring move in lapped traffic exiting turn four coming to the checkered to become the fifth different leader in the 40 lap affair and to pick up the win in front of an enthusiastic crowd. It marked his second career victory!

On Friday night at Batesville Motor Speedway, Billy battled mechanical woes throughout the program, which brought his night to an early end. Thursday's program at Batesville Motor Speedway fell victim to Mother Nature.

“You know some of my guys thought I was crazy, but before the feature at Riverside, I told them that I thought I was going to win the deal. Our car was just awesome and my patience paid off in lapped traffic on the last lap. This win is dedicated to all of my fans and sponsors, who have believed in me!” commented Moyer Jr in victory lane on Saturday night.
