Heading into the Dream 100 weekend Billy is riding a hot streak. He returned to action last weekend after losing two shows early in the week to Mother Nature. He entered a pair of $5,000 to win, Northern All Star Super Late Model events. On Friday, he made his first trip of the year to Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky as thirty-seven Super Late Models entered the event. After finishing third in his heat race, he locked into the tenth starting spot for the main event. He would stage a great charge through the field, and when the checkered flag dropped he was shown with a 3rd place finish behind event winner, Will Vaught, and Brian Shirley.

On Saturday night, the action moved to the high banks of I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri, and once again a loaded field of 38 Super Late Models entered the event. For the second straight night, Moyer Jr. would lock into the 10th starting position for the feature event via heat race action. In a repeat performance of Friday night, he advanced through the pack and picked up a 3rd place finish in the feature behind winner, Billy Moyer, and Will Vaught.
