Batesville, Arkansas (07/27/10) – After spending the last six weeks on the road, Billy Moyer Jr. returned to the friendly confines of his home track, Batesville Motor Speedway, over the weekend in his #21jr Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer Chassis entry and came away with his fifth feature win of the season
Billy entered a pair of Isle of Capri Crate Late Model Series Presented By Bad Boy Mowers events at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas over the weekend.
On Friday, a $1,500 to win event was on tap and after finishing fifth in his heat race, he started 15th in the feature. He would go on to advance more spots than any other driver in the main event as he worked his way to a seventh place finish in the final rundown.
On Saturday night, a fresh program was held, which was highlighted by a $2,000 to win feature. After winning his heat race, Moyer Jr. started on the front row next to Jeff Taylor. Billy took the lead at the drop of the green flag and went on to take a convincing win over Bill Frye and Jeff Taylor. The triumph was his fifth of the 2010 season!
This weekend, July 30th-31st, Billy will enter a pair of COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model events in Missouri and Arkansas. On Friday, he will be in action at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri in a $2,000 to win/$300 to start event before moving to Northeast Arkansas Speedway on Saturday night for a $2,000 to win/$400 to start program.
