(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The short off-season apparently did not cool off Billy Moyer and his famed #21 team, as they picked up right where they left off from 2010 by capturing three victories in the 5th Annual 'Wild West Shootout' at the USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona! Billy recorded $3,000 wins on January 12 & 14, while the Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer used a last-lap pass on Terry Phillips to claim the $10,000 triumph in the 'Bill Cheesbourg Memorial' on January 16.
Aside from his three trips to victory lane, Billy also notched two more Top Five performances. The Batesville, Arkansas native finished in the runner-up position behind winner Bub McCool in a crazy 30-lapper on January 15, while he wound up in the fourth spot after starting twenty-first on January 9. His worst finish of the 'Wild West Shootout,' if you can even call it a bad finish, came in the $3,000 to win opener where he landed a sixth place effort. At this time, Billy is not ready to commit to when and where he will race next. He will be present at both the 'Winternationals' at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida from February 7-12 and the 'DIRTcar Nationals' at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida from February 14-19, but in what capacity is unknown. There is a chance that he will bring his #21 equipment to race, but there is a greater chance at this time that he will solely be helping his Victory Circle by Moyer clientele in the pit area.
