(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team captured wins number six and seven of their 2010 campaign over the May 21-22 weekend by sweeping a pair of Lucas Oil MLRA Series showdowns in Missouri and Kansas. On Friday night, the State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Missouri took center stage for the #21 team. Billy Moyer won his heat race and later grabbed the lead in the A-Main on the fourth circuit. "Mr. Smooth" then paced the field for the remaining twenty-six laps to earn the $3,000 payday over Will Vaught, Chad Simpson, Terry Phillips, and Bryant Goldsmith.

The action quickly turned to the Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas on Saturday evening, as the Sunflower State venue played host to another $3,000 to win MLRA event. Billy, who was making his first career visit to Thunder Hill, started eighth in the main event, but quickly made his way to the front of the field. He eventually caught and overtook polesitter Chad Simpson and raced to his 36th career MLRA triumph. The Batesville, Arkansas native reached victory lane by defeating Simpson, Terry Phillips, John Anderson, and Dave Eckrich. Complete results from the weekend sweep can be found online at www.mlraracing.com.

"We hadn't initially planned on racing at Sedalia and Mayetta, but because of the weather, that looked like our best option," quoted Moyer earlier this week from the race shop. "Turns out, we look like geniuses for heading to those two places, but we had a really good car all weekend. Both tracks were in pretty good shape and we were able to tune on our car correctly to get the job done. Hopefully, things will keep rolling for us, as we head into Wheatland and Granite City this weekend!"

BMR has two premier events on their racing calendar for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend. The #21 team will travel to the states of Missouri and Illinois for the annual running of both the 'Show-Me 100' and the 'Fed-Ex 50.' On Friday and Saturday, May 28-29, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the $30,000 to win 'Show-Me 100' at the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri.

This year will mark the first time that the storied race has been held at Wheatland, as it originated at the West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri and was held there for seventeen consecutive years. The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand at the 3/8-mile, state-of-the-art complex to tape the exciting side-by-side action for broadcast later in the year. Billy is a three-time winner of the 'Show-Me 100,' as he took home the checkers back in 1993, 1994, and 1996.

The holiday weekend will conclude for the team on Sunday, May 30 at the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois. The unsanctioned 'Fed-Ex 50' will take place on Sunday at the St. Louis area venue and a $10,000 winner's check will be on the line. Additional information concerning both of these programs can be found online at www.lucasoilspeedway.com and www.tricityspeedway.net.
