(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) "Mr. Smooth" Billy Moyer wheeled his new Moyer Victory Race Car to another win on Sunday evening, September 3 on the hallowed high-banks of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio! Billy stopped the clock second quickest overall during the American Late Model Series (ALMS) time trial session for the 10th Annual 'Baltes Classic' prior to picking up a heat race triumph. After starting the 30-lap sprint from the outside of the front row, Billy grabbed the top spot on the seventh circuit and rolled to the $3,000 victory over Dale McDowell, Kent Robinson, Jason Feger, and Rusty Schlenk!

Earlier in the holiday weekend on Friday night, September 1 at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois, a $5,000 top prize was up for grabs in the final race of the season at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds bullring. Billy knocked down the fastest lap in his group during qualifying and once again scored a heat race win. The Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer then ran strong early in the 40-lapper, but unfortunately suffered from a hole in an oil line late in the distance and retired in the sixteenth position. Full results from both Labor Day weekend races can be accessed online at www.farmercityracing.com and www.eldoraspeedway.com.

The Dirt Late Model world will now converge on the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from September 7-9 for the 47th Annual 'World 100,' which marks the sport's most prestigious event. Action will get underway at the 1/2-mile speedplant in Darke County on Thursday and Friday with Twin 25s, each of which pay $10,000 to the winner. Saturday's traditional lineup at the "Big E" will feature six heat races, consolation events, and the 100-lap 'World 100' that will boast a gargantuan $50,000 windfall. A total of $425,800 in purse money will be distributed throughout the crown jewel weekend, which includes at least $2,500 going to each of the thirty 'World 100' starters.

Billy has started the 'World 100' headliner on twenty-four different occasions in his illustrious career and is the only driver to win the storied event six times! He will be looking to add his seventh globe trophy this coming weekend to the ones he received for winning in 1991, 1993, 1994, 1998, 2000, & 2010.
