Farmington, MO (July 28, 2007) -- The O’Reilly Midwest All-Star Sprint Series (MASS) made a visit to St Francois County Raceway this past Saturday Evening and Chad Blonde made it a two race sweep in Missouri. Thirty-two cars were on hand for the initial visit of the series.

Blonde, who makes his home in Litchfield , Michigan , decided to make the trip and run with MASS. He made it two for two as he won on Friday Night at the Auto Tire & Parts Racepark in Benton , MO. Normally he competes on the All-Star Circuit of Champions trail. He was also the 2006 Rookie of the Year on the regular All-Star Circuit.

Starting outside of row three in the main event, Blonde make quick work of cars in front of him and began to battle with early leader Bryan Matthews, Park Hills , MO and Tommy Worley, Jr of Farmington , MO. These three cars would mix it up for several laps. Around the half way point Blonde made his power move coming off the second corner and went around Matthews for the lead and was never seriously challenged.

The feature was slowed by several caution periods. A couple of minor spins and stalled cars. But, the wildest ride of the night went to Lou Thery, Bunker Hill , IL , as he did the end over end roll down the front straight. The car ended up in turn one and Thery would walk away from the heavily damaged race car. Jimmy Hurley did sort of a half roll, ending up on his side as he got his car into one of the other drivers.
