New Bethlehem, PA (April 28, 2013) Super Late Model veteran, Mike Blose laid claim to his first win of the 2013 season on Saturday night at would be his "maiden" voyage to America's Motorsports Park in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. While this is not Mike's first visit to the facility, it is his first since the change in name, and it would prove to be a victorious one. Despite strong pressure from a familiar competitor during several late-race restarts, Blose was able to power away from the competition.
After the race, he stated "The car was great all night, we had a lot of pressure there towards the end, but my motor was working great and I was able to put that power to the ground coming out of the corners. I can't thank Gary Vallies at PMI Racing Engines enough. They do a great job for me, and without their help, none of this would be possible. My crew has worked hard during the off-season and it's great to pick up a win this early in the season!" He went on to say "We made a few changes over the winter, have done a lot of homework and are really looking forward to a successful year."
