DOE RUN, MO--(July 10, 2005) Farmington, MO native Joey Boyd earned his second feature win of the season in the 600cc multi class at Doe Run Raceway this past Friday night. Boyd, who started on the front row after winning his heat race led all 20 laps of the main event. Matt Dotson finished second to Boyd, Tony Roney third, Brad McDaniel fourth and last week's winner Dustin Barks finished fifth.
Dotson won the first heat, Andy Malpocker second and Casey Barnhouse third. Roney finished second to Boyd in the second heat, McDaniel third.
To the delight of the crowd, Shannon Burch put his #8 Burch Fence Mini Stock in the winners circle for his fourth consecutive feature win. Burch, who started front row after winning his heat race, led all but one lap of the 15 lap main event. Dave Wofford finished second, Brian Cox third, CJ Wright fourth and Ron Moser fifth.
Wofford won the first heat, Mike Helvey second and Chris Pettus third. Marty Boyer finished second to Burch in the second heat, Cox third.
Braydon Wright earned another pair of victories for the 2005 season in the Stock Kart class winning both his heat race and the main event. Landon Barks finished second to Wright in the A-Main, Jesse Wright third, Andrew Cash fourth and Maggie Almon fifth. Andrew Cash finished in the runner up spot in the heat race, Barks third.
Bill Beard added a second feature win to his list in the Dwarf Car class. Beard who had a total of two wins for the evening, was followed across the line in the feature event by Mike Zaricor, Vince Conway, Chris Hayes and Dave Huffman. Zaricor finished second to Beard in the heat race, Hayes third.
