Inside Line Promotions - LEXINGTON, Tenn. (Aug. 28, 2013) - Last weekend was a rough one for Brandon Hahn, who was once again struck by mechanical gremlins.

Hahn's weekend ended on Saturday during hot laps at the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour's inaugural event at Lexington 104 Speedway, leaving the team with only one engine for this weekend's doubleheader at Jackson Speedway in Jackson, Minn.

"In hot laps we dropped a valve," he said. "That was it for that night. Not a very good weekend. We've been having some trouble with our motor program. Hopefully we can get some luck back on our side for this weekend."

Hahn started last weekend on Thursday at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark., by placing sixth in his heat race on the ultra-slick track.

"We weren't bad," he said. "I felt like we had a pretty decent car. The track changed on us really fast. It was really slick and we just had the car too loose and I ended up spinning out early in the heat."

The team tweaked with the setup for a B Main, which Hahn started on the outside of the third row. With the top three transferring to the feature, Hahn was on the move early.

"We had a way, way better car," he said. "It was fast. I could roll the bottom and blaze the top. We started getting some cars after the second restart, but the top got too far around and I couldn't make anything happen. It was just a bummer night."

Hahn ended up placing fifth in the consolation, missing a transfer by only two positions.

This weekend marks not only his first visit to Jackson Speedway, but his first trip to Minnesota. Hahn will also be shorthanded for the doubleheader.

"We're gonna miss our crew guy, Mike Davenport," he said. "So it'll be on just me and my dad this weekend."
