Moberly, MO(September 15th)-
Starting from the pole, Brian Brown led all twenty laps to win the O’Reilly Auto Parts Winged Outlaw Warriors A Main at 24 Raceway Saturday night.
With Brown out front, the first yellow would occur on lap twelve for second place Jon Corbin, who stopped with terminal motor problems.
Brown would again lead until the action was stopped on lap eighteen for a Kim Kennedy flip. Kennedy was not injured. Brown continued to lead on the restart followed by Randy Martin and Terry Hinck. On the same lap, seventh running Josh Fisher would see his slim championship hopes fade away as he would fall out with a flat tire.
Brown would go on to his thirtieth career WOW victory followed by all-time WOW winner and current point leader Martin. Hinck, who is currently third in points, would finish third. Recently crowned ASCS Midwest champion Natalie Sather would finish fourth followed by Jonathan Cornell. Chris Walker finished sixth followed by Rusty Potter. Moving up through the field were eighth place finisher Gabe Maycock, who advanced eight positions, and KSE Hard Charger Curtis Boyer, who would finish ninth advancing nine spots. Rounding out the top ten was J Kinder.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts Winged Outlaw Warriors will conclude their season with their inaugural trip to Midway Speedway in Lebanon, MO this Friday September 21st.
