BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (July 1, 2006) Big River Sand Drags honored some of it's own Saturday night during special ceremonies prior to the start of it's racing program by inducting three new members to the "Wall of Fame."
Having their names added to the "Wall of Fame" for 2006 included John Dreher of Wentzville, Bill Sutton of Bonne Terre and Buck McCumber of Leadwood.
Dreher, known as the best chassis builders for the Open 4x4 style vehicles, was honored for his contributions both on and off the track at BRSD. Sutton and McCumber have both been long time members and contributors to the track in a variety of capacities. The three join John McCulloch, Wendall Simpson, Tim Dee, Dave Varner, Todd Dee, Terry Wies, Chris Mackley, Jason Stepan, Rick Finney (with special thanks to Oak Street Racing and Show Me 4x4s). All three inductees of 2006 were on hand for Saturday night's ceremonies. All three are also 20-year members of BRSD.
