Possum Town Grand Prix at Magnolia Up Next

Corinth, Mississippi (10/22/19) – For the first time in four years, Bryan Marsh had the opportunity to compete at his hometown track on Saturday night. The Corinth, Mississippi racer made the most of the opportunity by piloting his Modern Woodmen #1 XR1 Rocket Chassis / Eagle Racing Engine Late Model to the $1,500 feature win with the All Star Racing Series at the recently-reopened Crossroads Motorpark Speedway.

“We’ve got a good car, but honestly we just haven’t had much time to race this year between my dad’s work schedule and my college stuff. It was really special to get to race at home for the first time in four years on Saturday night. We had a lot of friends and family out there, which made it special,” Marsh said. “It proved to be a pretty long night because of the rain delays, but in the end, we were able to get the job done from the sixth-starting spot.

“I’d like to thank our primary sponsor Modern Woodmen of America as well as everyone who supports our program. I’m hoping we can squeeze in one or two more races before this season is done.”

Saturday night found Bryant Marsh returning to action with an All-Star Racing Series Late Model event at Crossroads Motorpark Speedway (Corinth, Mississippi).

After registering a runner-up finish in his heat race, Marsh locked into the sixth-starting position for the feature after a rain delay axed the dash. Sporadic showers plagued the remainder of the night, but finally the $1,500-to-win feature was able to get underway shortly after 2:00 a.m. Wheeling his way to the front by lap 20, Marsh streaked to his first win of the season.

The annual Possum Town Grand Prix at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on November 29-30 is next up for Marsh Motorsports. The weekend is sanctioned by the Durrence Layne Dirt Late Model Series and will feature a $2,000-to-win program on Friday evening and a $3,000-to-win event on Saturday evening.
