BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- The inaugural Driver's Seat Buggy Nationals will be the featured event this Saturday (June 18th) at Big River Sand Drags with the top buggy racers from the Midwest participating.
Thanks to the outstanding support by sponsors, the event will feature the biggest payout for the Stock Buggy class and the Off Road Modified class in the history of the track.
In addition to the regular payout, the first place buggy in both classes will receive a $400 bonus for first place, a $200 bonus for second place, a $100 bonus for third place and a $100 bonus to win the top eliminator race. Archway Imports are also providing some huge trophies for the winners.
Gates will open at 3 p.m. Saturday for registration with time trials starting at 4 p.m., registration ending at 6 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. The entry fee is only $25 with admission $8 for adults with kids 6-12 only $4 (kids 5 and under free). Coolers and barbecue grills are also allowed along with camping.
