“Lucas Oil Bull Ring Midget Nationals Presented by Lucas Cattle Company”
Kansas City, MO (Oct. 27th, 2009) – The Bull Ring Midget Nationals scheduled for December 18th and 19th at Kansas City’s Kemper Arena will now be the “Lucas Oil Bull Ring Midget Nationals Presented by Lucas Cattle Company” as Lucas Oil Products has signed on as the title sponsor with Lucas Cattle Company jumping on as the Presenting Sponsor for the event. This year's event will pay $5,000 to win on Friday night Dec. 18th and $10,000-to-win and $500 to start Saturday’s race on Dec. 19th, plus a No Bull payout of $3500 for the top three point finishers each night! Supporting classes include the Modlites/Dwarf cars, and the 1200 Outlaw Lightning Winged Sprints. Last years event drew over 300 participants, and will now be run on two-weekends, which will allow for better track conditions, with quality racing not affected by time constraints. On December 11th-13th, The No Bull Small Car Nationals will include: twenty-three classes of go karts, and various micro sprint divisions. In 2008, 84 midget teams from around the country participated in the two-day event. The event is again drawing the interest of midget and sprint car racing's top drivers and teams along with drivers from NASCAR and the NHRA.
