(CROSSVILLE, TENNESSEE) Second generation racer Cameron Weaver has been recently tabbed as the new CVR Race Cars House Car driver for 2020 and will start his tenure this weekend during the annual 'Gobbler' at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia. Cameron will get a jump start on his 2020 campaign in several late-season Crate Late Model specials starting on Saturday night, November 16 at the Chattanooga-area oval. While Cameron will be behind the wheel of a #16 machine next year, the Crossville, Tennessee ace will pilot David Duplissey's #d2 CVR racecar at Boyd's to vie for the $1,200 top prize in the Crate portion of the 'Gobbler.'

"First off, I have to thank CVR owner Chip Vineyard and David Duplissey for this great opportunity, along with all of our valued marketing partners and product sponsors," stated the 21-year-old Weaver recently. "Chip has had a long list of talented drivers that have wheeled his racecars in the past and I am very thankful for this ride heading into the 2020 season. We've done some testing recently and by racing this weekend at Boyd's and next weekend at Duck River, hopefully we get some notes put together and get a good start on where we need to be for next year!"

So far in 2019, Cameron has entered fifteen Crate Late Model shows across the states of Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia and has racked up five Top Five efforts and eight Top Ten performances. His best finish so far of second was achieved twice back on March 23 at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia and on June 28 at his hometown Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee.
