Brighton, CO (March 13th, 2013) In less then two weeks the Championship Dirt MotorsportsSuper Late Model Southern Series Presented by Indy Screen Print will return to Tucson International Raceway on Saturday, March 23rd. This
race will pay $1,200 to win and $200 to start.
This will be the first time that the series has raced since it kicked off the 2013 seasonduring the last two nights of the Winter Extreme at TucsonInternational Raceway. Billy Moyer of Batesville, Arkansas picked up a win worth $3,000 at the season opener. On night two Shane Clanton of
Fayetteville, Georgia picked up the win worth $10,000. This was the 2nd largest winning purse in series history.
There are drivers from New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and California thatare expected to be at the CDM Super Late Model Southern Series Presented byIndy Screen Print race at Tucson International Raceway on March 23rd. After the first two races of the 2013 season RC Whitwell of Tucson, AZ is sitting 5th in points and is leading all drivers that plan on following the series this year. RC Whitwell will be contending for the $2,500 CDM Super Late Model Southern Series Presented by Indy Screen Print Championship and the $1,000 Total Seal Piston Rings Rookie of the Year in 2013. 2012 CDM Southern Series Champion, GarrettAlberson, of Las Cruces, NM has already picked up 3 wins in 2013 and will be at this race and will be trying to defend his championship. El Mirage, Arizona's Lonnie Parker Jr, a 7 time SWDRA Champion, will be at this race and will be chasing his first CDM Super Late Model Series Championship and Rookie of the Year.
