Coldwater, Mississippi (05/24/11) – A week after finishing in the runner-up position at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas), Chris Moore returned to the historic oval and powered #17 Lindsey Motorsports/Shaw By C Moore/FLR Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified to the feature win.
Chris entered a single event over the weekend as he took part in the Weekly Racing Series Event at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night, and the end result would be his third feature triumph of the 2011 season. After finishing second in his heat race, Chris started third in the feature and would chase early leader, Murray Vaughn, for the first half of the race before battling his way to the lead. The upcoming weekend, May 27th-28th, will tentatively see Chris enter a pair of events in Tennessee and Arkansas. On Friday night he is tentatively planning to make the tow to Tennessee National Raceway (Hohenwald, Tennessee) for a $1,000 to win event, which will be sanctioned by the K&N Filters USCS Open Wheel Modified Series.
