Coldwater, Mississippi (03/30/11) – After a few weeks away from the track Chris Moore will take his #17 Lindsey Motorsports/Shaw By C Moore/FLR Racing Engine Open Wheel Modified into battle this weekend at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) with the K&N Filters USCS Open Wheel Modified tour.
Chris and Lindsey Motorsports were last in action two weeks ago, March 18th-19th, at the Bootheel 200 in K&N Filters USCS Open Wheel Modified Series action at Malden Speedway (Malden, MO). Thirty cars entered the event, and on Friday night Chris locked into the K&N Filters Pole Sitter's Dash, where he recorded a third place finish to earn the third starting spot for Saturday night's 30 lap finale. In the feature, the team would make a bar change, which would result in the car being too tight. He would go on to battle in the top five for the duration of the event before settling for a solid third place finish behind race winner, Jesse Stovall, and Ben Reed. This Saturday, April 2nd Chris will return to action with the K&N Filters USCS tour at Columbus Speedway in the Spring Xplosion, which will pay $1,000 to win.
