Dewitt, AR (11/11/09) – Clay Fisher entered the 3rd Annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi over the weekend in his #99 Fisher Recycling/Mastersbilt By Stuckey/CMS Racing Engine Super Late Model, and after getting off to a slow start, raced his way to a solid finish.

Fisher Motorsports entered the 3rd Annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi over the weekend. With a $5,000 top prize on the line and 36 Super Late Models on hand, Clay finished one spot short of a transfer to the feature in his heat race on Friday night, and as a result he had to run a b-main event on Saturday night. In the b-main event, Fisher advanced to a second place finish, which earned him the 20th starting spot in Saturday night's, 40 lap finale. Clay would battle his way to an 11th place finish during the course of the feature event.

Clay and the team are currently uncertain if they will compete in anymore events in 2009, although they are considering the Bama Super Series event at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) on November 21st and the 9th Annual Possum Town Grand Prix at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on November 27th-28th.
