Four-wheeled competition in the Missouri State Fairgrounds’ famous Coliseum will be of a different variety this Saturday night in Sedalia.
Speedway Kart racing will take a another week off as the 4th Annual Yeager’s Cycle “Coliseum ArenaCross” will, for the first time, put on a two-day motocross event featuring ATV’s on Saturday evening and Motorcycles on Sunday afternoon.
The karts will return on March 1st to finish out their 2002-3 season, again running every Saturday night through March 22nd.
All Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s), will kick off the special event Saturday evening. The pits will open at 2 pm, grandstands at 3, warm-ups at 4 with the first moto off the line at 5 pm.
Things will get underway much sooner for the Motorcycle motos on Sunday. The pit shack will open its doors at 7 am, at 10 am the grandstands will open, practice starts at 11 am with the first moto getting underway at noon.
