This Saturday September 10th at Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale Texas will include seven racing divisions, featuring $750 to win in the USRA Modified division and $500 to win in the Limited Modified division, and special remembrances of events of 9/11/01 throughout the evening. There is no entry fee in either of the modified divisions.
American flags will be passed out to the first 100 kids through the grandstand entrance upon their arrival, and many of the drivers cars will be adorned with American flags. All current U.S. Military service people will be admitted free by presenting their Military I.D. and they are encouraged to wear their uniform to the speedway.
Also hitting the 1/4 mile high banks will be the final LSDCC.com Dwarf Car event on the 2011 Cowtown Schedule. Plus the Cowtown Bombers (reminder, IMCA legal Hobby Stocks are legal to run with the Bombers), Non-Winged A-class 600’s (on the ¼ mile track), Non-Winged Restricted 600’s (on the Action Track) and Street Stocks will round out the racing card. Kid’s candy call will also take place during intermission.
Plus a special $100 bounty has been put on Nick Clinkenbeard for any Limited Modified driver that can win the feature race on September 10th; as he has been on a winning streak. Of course, to win the bounty you must race Nick cleanly. But if you beat him fair and square, you will take home $600 total for winning the feature!
On the grandstand side, regular event pricing will be in effect, with adult tickets $10 for ages 12 and up, ages 6-11 will be $5; and all kids 5 and under are free!
Reminder, New Saturday Start Times Are In Effect: Gates open at 5pm and racing starts at 7pm. All pit passes on Saturday September 10th are $25, and there is a $10 draw fee for each car in the Cowtown point’s classes.
Fans can bring in a drink cooler (size of a 6-pack) as long as they do not have glass containers.
