Crystal’s Great Lakes Nationals pays $3,000 to IMCA Modified winner

CRYSTAL, Mich. (Sept. 12) – IMCA Modifieds will race for a top prize of $3,000 at Crystal Motor Speedway’s Great Lakes Nationals this Saturday, Sept. 17.
The 19th annual special is a qualifying event for the 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and a minimum of $300 will be paid to make the starting grid. All applicable IMCA points will be awarded.
Early registration is from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16. Pit gates open at noon and the grandstand opens at 3 p.m. Saturday. Hot laps are from 3-4 p.m. and racing starts at 5 p.m.
Entry fee is now $45. RACEceivers are required and can be rented at the track.
Grandstand admission is $15 for adults and $6 for kids, with youngsters five and under admitted free. Pit passes are $25 in advance or $35 on race day.
Free camping, with no hookups, will be available at the track.
