Kilgore, Texas (March 27, 2004) - David Ashley claimed his second O'Reilly SUPR Late Model victory of the season as he led all 40 laps to take the victory at Lone Star Speedway at the wheel of his Thornhill Wrecker/Ace Storage Wall 2 Wall powered Chevrolet Monte Carlo Larry Shaw Race Car.

Ashley got the jump on B&K Underground Top Qualifier Ray Moore and never looked back in a fast paced race that was slowed only once for a caution.

Ashley set the pace up front while Duke Whiseant battled up from his fifth starting spot to challenge for the lead but once Ashley began to work his way through lapped traffic, he was able to ease back away from Duke.

Kenny Merchant earned the Creel Brothers Hard Charger award for passing the most cars in the feature as he started 12th and moved up to third at the checkers. Bill Frye made his debut for the 2004 season and he broke out a new look, carrying the number 25 in place of the familiar 66 to mark his 25th Anniversary in racing. Frey finished fourth ahead of pole sitter and leading Rookie of the Year contender Ray Moore. Jon Mitchell, Marlon Wild, Charlie Randolph, Jody Prince and Jeff Chanler rounded out the top 10.

38 O'Reilly SUPR Late Models were on hand. Duke Whiseant, Ray Moore, Jon Mitchell, Allen Tippen and David Ashley topped the heat races while Curt Lipsey and Trey Beene bagged the last chance races.
