Macon, IL---Thanks to the generosity of Decatur Used Cars, the UMP Street Stocks will have an added incentive to win their feature on opening day, April 3rd at Macon Speedway. Any driver that finished in the Top 10 in points at a UMP sanctioned track in 2009 is eligible to win an additional $250 bonus.
2009 Macon Speedway Street Stock track champion Blake Shelley and 11-time feature event winner and runner-up in points Steve Ewing will be two of the drivers battling for the extra money at the 1/5th mile banked dirt oval. Drivers from Shepp’s Speedway and Jacksonville Speedway may try and invade Macon and take home the Decatur Used Cars bonus.
The 2010 season will mark the 65th year of competition and all of the defending track champions will be back to defend their titles. A full schedule of racing as well as a number of special events will highlight the 2010 campaign.
