Deery Brothers in 22nd season as sponsor for IMCA Late Model Summer Series

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (Feb. 27) – The longest running Late Model tour in the Midwest enjoys title sponsorship of the Deery Brothers Automotive Group for the 22nd consecutive season in 2013.
The largest retailer of new and pre-driven cars, trucks and vans in Iowa will provide a portion of the $20,400 in point fund money for top 15 IMCA Late Model drivers in final Deery Brothers Summer Series point standings.
The champion earns $5,000. All drivers are required to display two Deery Brothers decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares.
Eighteen events are on the upcoming schedule, with opening night April 5 at Dubuque Speedway. A minimum of $3,000 to win and $300 to start will be paid at each feature. Drivers with perfect 2013 series attendance are also eligible for nightly drawings of $250 from Sunoco Race Fuels.
Top paying events are the $5,000 to win Brent Slocum Memorial at 34 Raceway in West Burlington on April 6 and the $7,500 to win feature on Sept. 14 during the Yankee Dirt Track Classic at Farley Speedway.
Other series dates are April 13 and July 9 at West Liberty Raceway, April 19 and Sept. 21 at Davenport Speedway, April 20 and Sept. 13 at Farley, May 5 at Quad City Speedway in East Moline, Ill., May 27 and Sept. 2 at Boone Speedway, June 4 at Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, June 11 at Cedar County Raceway in Tipton, July 2 and Sept. 20 at Independence Motor Speedway, July 14 at Dubuque and Aug. 12 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds Speedway in Des Moines.
Jeff Aikey is the seven-time and defending series champion. He also leads all drivers with 58 career tour wins. Darrel DeFrance has competed at all 404 events in series history, winning 13 times.
Deery Brothers has more than 4,400 new and pre-driven vehicles at outlet and service centers in West Burlington, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Maquoketa, Pella, Pleasant Hill and Waterloo. Collision centers are located in Burlington, Cedar Falls and Pleasant Hill.
