(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb, Jr. and his #28 team made the trip to Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois on Saturday evening, April 13 for the annual running of the 'Chuck Hamilton Memorial.' A 23 car field converged at the Land of Lincoln oval to vie for the $5,000 paycheck in the UMP Super Late Model special. Dennis clicked off the fourth quickest time in his group during qualifying and placed sixth in his heat race prior to picking up the triumph in his B-Main. The Carpentersville, Illinois standout then blasted past nine competitors during the headliner en route to a solid seventh place showing. With the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series tour once again sitting idle on April 19-20, Dennis Erb Racing is slated to travel west to the Hawkeye State of Iowa for a pair of Lucas Oil MLRA Series throwdowns. The sprawling 1/2-mile at Davenport Speedway in Davenport, Iowa will play host to the weekend lid lifter on Friday, as a $5,000 winner's check will be up for grabs. The 11th Annual 'Slocum 50' will then close out the doubleheader weekend on Saturday night at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa and Dennis will gun for the $10,555 top prize in the contest that memorializes former Late Model driver Brent Slocum.
